What are bleeds and safety margin?
Safety Margins-Safety margins refer to the zone between text and graphics that are not meant to be trimmed-Keep in mind that because of the mechanical tolerances involved in printing, the actual cut can happen anywhere between the bleeds and the safety margin. Bleed– A finished product that has artwork touching the outermost edge of the paper was set up with bleeds.-In a layout file, bleed refers to the line extending past the trim line to which artwork or a background color is extended so that the blade will cut through it (rather than next to it).– Incorporating sufficient bleed helps accommodate the inherent margin of error in where the actual cut is made.If there is no bleed, there will be a white or un printed border left around the edge..

What is a vector?
Vector images allow more flexibility. Constructed using mathematical formulas rather than individual colored blocks, vector file types such as:
-EPS
-AI
-PDF
These file types are excellent for creating graphics that frequently require resizing.
Your company logo and brand graphics should be created as a vector and saved as a master file so you can use it with smaller items such as your business card and letterhead, but also on larger surfaces, such as your corporate jet
How long would it take to process my order?
Business cards turnaround time is 48 hours and small orders.
Other jobs vary depending on how large the project is and specifications are.
What are our business hours?
Maneki Print’s shop time is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Maneki Print’s cost for design is $80/hr
What is “Colour Mode” and how do I convert my document to “CMYK”?
Using RGB is great if your design will be used on screen. But if there is even the slightest chance of your artwork being printed, you need to create files in CMYK color mode.
-For Illustrator: On the New document window, make sure to select “Print” in the New Document Profile dropdown
-For Photoshop: On New document window, select RGB as color mode and set resolution to 300 dots per inch. Immediately after that, turn on CMYK color imitation (View > Proof colors).When done, convert your final document to CMYK color mode (Image > Mode > CMYK > Flatten) then save the file under a different name. Use this file to finalize your print design in Illustrator, InDesign or CorelDRAW. Note that you can also create CMYK files right from the start (just pick CMYK mode on the New document window), but this will prevent you from using certain effects and functions.

Maneki Print is currently shipping within Canada only.
How soon can I get my Business Cards delivered?
The shipping speed will depend on the paper and options you choose for your cards, but can be as fast as 2 days. Next-day Business Card delivery is available for various options if you order before 2pm (EST) Mon–Fri.

What is the difference between matte, glossy and soft touch Business Cards?
